The poet and novelist Ricardo Güiraldes (1886-1927) shared his life between Buenos Aires and San Antonio de Areco -where the museum in his honor is located- and he met Segundo Ramírez, the gaucho who inspired the main character of his masterpiece, completed at end of his short life- and Paris where he died of cancer; him in addition to seasons in several cities, mainly European.
